Giving Books a Second Life, Giving Minds a New Beginning

Devotees in NSW gathered for a regional book drive initiative, undertaken as a meaningful expression of selfless service, aimed at supporting education while also promoting sustainability. Through the collection and distribution of pre-loved books to underserved schools, communities, and families, this seva helped bridge gaps in access to learning resources while giving new life to books that might otherwise have ended up in landfill. Each book shared became a source of knowledge, inspiration, and opportunity, reflecting the importance of mindful living and responsible use of resources. Guided by Swami’s teachings on the value of education and character, volunteers offered this service with love and humility, recognising that true education not only enlightens minds but also encourages care for the environment and the world around us.
