A book, a few chapters each week, and a group of sincere hearts: this is how the Sandeha Nivarini satsang journey began and slowly transformed into something truly special; a deeply moving spiritual experience. The Sandeha Nivarini satsang became a heartfelt initiative of the NSW Ladies Wing, undertaken as part of the collective reading of Sai literature. This sacred journey unfolded from 24 February to 26 May 2026, spanning over three meaningful months, and was further enriched when our ACT, SA and WA sisters joined the reading circle along the way. Reading one or two chapters at a time, the ladies gathered fortnightly on Tuesdays for thoughtful and in-depth discussions. The sincerity, discipline, and dedication shown by both facilitators and participants were truly inspiring, reflecting a shared longing to understand Swami’s message and live by it.
True to its name, Sandeha Nivarini: the remover of doubts, proved to be a deeply transformative experience. Though this book was written by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba in 1958, every conversation during our 2026 satsang felt strikingly relevant, practical, and alive. Each chapter seemed to speak directly to our present-day questions, challenges, and inner struggles. In this unique work, Bhagawan lovingly assumes a dual role. He, himself, raises the very questions that arise in the human heart and then answers them Himself, gently guiding us towards the truth of One Consciousness. Through this divine dialogue, the book encourages honest questioning, sincere inquiry, and personal experience, leading the seeker again and again to the timeless and life-changing question: “Who am I?”
As our Guru, Guide, and God, Bhagawan reminds us that the true purpose of life is Self-realisation. While the book explores deep philosophical ideas, its central message is simple and powerful: we are not the body or the mind, but the true “I”; the pure Self. This understanding grows through practice, lived experience, and unwavering faith. Swami gently urges us to turn inward, to explore the inner world we often overlook, even though it is so close, simple, and always accessible.

This book came into our lives purely as Bhagawan’s grace, reaffirming that the Guru and the mantras arrive exactly when we are ready. Time and again, Swami reassures us that all is well, and that everything is Divine, for even what appears as delay is never denial. Every moment unfolds exactly according to His divine will, in His perfect timing. As we walk through life, we must discharge our duties sincerely, yet never forget the deeper purpose of our birth. Life is short, fragile, and precious. Let us not lose ourselves in doubt or fear, but move forward together with faith; letting go of what binds us and keeping Swami at the centre-so that our shared journey becomes meaningful, guided, and ultimately liberating.
We humbly pray to Swami to continue blessing His children, to grant us many more such opportunities for satsang, and to constantly remind us of Him and of the true purpose of our human birth. This offering is placed lovingly at His lotus feet—for He is the Seer, the Source, and the Eternal Guide.
