The Sai Centre of Willetton in Western Australia observed Buddha Purnima (Vesak Day) through a traditional Buddha Bathing ceremony, symbolising the purification of one’s thoughts, words, and deeds, and the cultivation of goodness and virtue. Devotees also engaged in a meaningful study circle, reflecting on the noble qualities of the Buddha’s life and exploring the diversity of Buddhist traditions, while drawing connections with the universal teachings of Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

The 2026 Maha Shivaratri celebrations were observed by members across Australia. United in love and reverence for Sai Shiva, devotees gathered to offer prayers and heartfelt bhajans throughout the sacred night.

Maha Shivaratri is an auspicious occasion, signifying the night of goodness, godliness, and good fortune. It is a night prescribed for the fourteenth night of the dark half of the month, preceding the New Moon, when the mind, ruled by the Moon, is significantly reduced. Devoting this night to prayer can help in overcoming the mind's hold on an individual.

Every Bhajan speaks and conveys a mesmerizing tale of Swami. Words fail to express, and only hearts can feel. Darshan, Sparshan, and Sambhashan are the three gifts of His divine Love, everybody says. Still, Bhajans carry so many thoughts and feelings, and this Ananda is Anantha.
