Trees purify our air, keep our waterways clean, and help combat climate change. In addition, they are nature’s great spiritual teacher, exemplifying the qualities of generosity, sacrifice and selfless service. Unfortunately, trees are being destroyed by humans at alarming rates, with around 80 thousand acres of forest disappearing from the earth each day. National Tree Day is Australia’s largest community tree planting event and an opportunity for us to help replenish this precious resource.

 

As a humble offering to Mother Earth, join us this Sunday 31 July with our Sai centres and local communities to plant trees for a healthier environment and greener future.
