Service - Sri Sathya Sai - Australia
On 19 July 2026, a service initiative was undertaken in the Narangana and Rangala Divisions of Kandy District, Sri Lanka, to support vulnerable families within the local community. Clothing and sports equipment generously donated by Sai Centre of The Hills, in partnership with Vanni Hope Australia, were distributed to families in need.
Through this initiative, 80 families received assistance, including 30 families from the Narangana Division and 50 families from the Rangala Division.
Each family received a package containing clothing and sports equipment. Beyond providing essential clothing, the inclusion of sports equipment aimed to encourage children and youth to participate in healthy recreational activities, supporting their physical and social well-being. The donated items were warmly received and greatly appreciated by the beneficiaries, making the initiative a valuable contribution towards the well-being of the wider community.
